A swashbuckling pirate is in the forefront of this carefully detailed, hand painted scene. The pirate's ship is in the background, flying the skull and crossbones flag on a red and white striped sail. The pirate's booty is spilling out of his treasure chest on the end of the toybox. Striped toybox with safety hinges has been hand painted with vintage planes and stars on a field of stripes. Solidly constructed of Alder hardwood the toybox is primed, basecoated, decoratively painted and clearcoated with a tough polyacrylic finish to provide years of use. All paints and finishes are water-based and safe for kids. Designed with ample storage to hold a variety of items, such as toys, blankets etc. Features a reversible aromatic cedar/birch veneer bottom. Durable construction ensures many years of use.
